I'm interested in becoming a group fitness instructor and would love to know who you recommend I get my certification through?

If you aspire to be a group fitness instructor, some of the most suitable certifications are:
ACE (American Council on Exercise) – Very well known and accepted at the majority of gyms.
AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) – Well-suited for newbies and very hands-on.
ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association) – Convenient and simple to learn at your own rate.
NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) – Provides workshops and learning online.
ACE and ISSA are the most widely used if you're looking for good support and broad recognition.
-
You can consider following:
National Academy of Sports Medicine. International Sports Sciences Association. Action Certification. American Council on Exercise (ACE)
National Council On Strength & Fitness. National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA)
National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT). -
For group fitness instructor certifications, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE) are highly recommended. NASM offers multiple options, including self-study and premium packages. ACE provides various packages with digital and physical resources, practice exams, and job placement support.

their are various institutions which provide certification if you want to gain knowledge then go for ACE,ACSM,ISSA these all are online certification bodies. All their certification are currently in demand by all leading fitness studios. if you want proper practical knowledge their is Reebok institute @mumbai six months course they provide. If you go for online certification practical knowledge you would be gaining through experience. I myself am pursuing ISSA certification.

I would recommend you to get your certification through ISSA. ISSA (The International Sports Sciences Association) is an organisation that offers education and certification for fitness trainers, coaches, nutritionists, and medical professionals.

Before you start teaching classes, it is important to earn a reputable certification that gives you the knowledge and skills you'll need to deliver safe and effective exercise to class participants. When you are shopping for a certification, only consider programs accredited by an independent, third party that specifically provi...more
