Prepare your syllabus thoroughly, especially sections in which long answers can be asked.
UGC NET is an exam for would-be teachers at college level. So, make sure your answers are evaluative or critical in nature. Good introductions, conclusions, sub-headings, charts, graphs and all that can make your answer easy-to-understand and grasp leave good impression on evaluators.
Good handwriting and speed matters in UGC NET. You are not a student anymore, so don't bank on bad handwriting to get some extra marks.
For those who are good in academics, UGC NET is just another exam. So, study well and go for it.

    Hi Meenu,
As well stated by SmritiMatra , the advise mentioned will help you not exactly to strategize as there cannot be a particular strategy but a complete basics that are mostly required.
I would too suggest on her lines and hope that you make it through. However, to gain better coaching and preparation support, you may refer to the following link for the same:

Collect your syllabus first then make a time table to prepare better, some topics which are your favorite should be on your tips and finally the presentation matters.
