I missed giving NATA exam this year and thus will be appearing for it next year. Can I pursue a 1 year Diploma in interior designing now?

Yes, the admissions through NATA are closed. So no use of appearing it now. So what you are planning is absolutely good. Best of Luck.

NATA exam is still open, and you can take the exam until AUGUST 2016. I would suggest you take it up asap.
