I need to know the eligibility I mean how much percentage is considered for admission and given admission from previous years?

I'm in my final semester and I think I will score around 60% in my B.Sc. Microbiology from Madras University accredited college.

  • There has been no fixed percentage as such over the years. This is a parameter that varies from year to year and is based on the rank/ scores of the VITEEE.

    The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. Applied Microbiology at VIT Vellore is B.Sc. degree from a recognised University in any branch of biological Science that includes Botany/ Zoology, Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Nutrition or home Science/ Agricultural Science/ medicine with an 50% of marks (Inclusive of all subjects). Admission criteria : Admission will be based on merit in qualifying exam (B.Sc. marks)
    So from above the 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria.
