I've completed B.Sc nursing & want to do MBA in hospital management. Should I go for a distance or regular course from Annamalai University?

Yes, you should do MBA in Hospital Management from Annamalai University through Distance Learning mode but my first I want to tell you that MBA in Hospital is not available in distance learning from Annamalai University so you should go with either ICFAI or Suresh Gyan Vihar University. It is a very good decision to do MBA after your graduation but one thing is for sure that regular courses are always better than distance courses in terms of everything. So, if you are not working and have time to do MBA regular, then go for it. If you don't have the option, then distance course is for you. All the best.

If you are not working, then you should go for regular MBA and if you are already in job then you should opt executive MBA that is better than MBA through distance mode. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NEST ) accepted by various colleges and you should also have minimum of 50% to 60% in your Bachelors (any stream) for admission in the same. Admission in MBA is done through an entrance exam followed by interview and GD. Fee ranges from 2 lacs to 20 lacs for 2 years. For Hospital and Healthcare the best colleges are: Goa Institute of Management -Goa D. Y. Patil University- Navi Mumbai Jamia Hamdard University- Delhi Lovely Professional University-Punjab Tata Institute of Social Sciences-Mumbai.

You should consider your options before opting for a regular or distance course. A correspondence/distance course is mostly done when the student does not live in proximity to his/her institute and cannot attend classes at the institute. Regular courses are very demanding, and needs one's entire attention to do well in the course. If you have already done a B.Sc. nursing regular course you should have a fair idea of its rigors and demanding nature. Distance courses in comparison have fewer classes, and many opt for distance courses if they are working and cannot complete demands of a regular course.
