I've completed my BCA without maths. I've completed my intermediate with biology. Am I eligible to do MCA for distance education?

    Mathematics is mandatory either in class 12th or graduation. You are a commerce student (class 12th) and you have not studied mathematics in class 12th, but you will study mathematics in graduation. If you choose BCA and would be eligible for doing MCA. The course emphasis on the latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. BCA makes a base while MCA adds a specialised touch in the subjects studied in BCA.     A candidate who wishes to pursue MCA degree needs to study maths either in +2 or under graduation. If you haven't done both of these then you aren't eligible for MCA.

    Students who have done BCA from any recognised university are eligible to apply for MCA course. Aspirants should have studied Mathematics subject in the 10+2 standard or graduation level. The qualifying examination must be passed with 50% marks.
