I've failed in my 12th CBSE board exams under PCM and can't give compartment exam as I failed in 4 subjects. What should I do now?

Hi Manisha, It's unfortunate that you have not cleared your 12th and have failed. First, take the drop and repeat the failed subjects. Remember, real courage is not jumping in front of a moving train, but in getting your own back on track. Second, you can *ALSO* give the NIOS exams, where you can choose some subjects and carryover existing marks also. It is an additional option, not an alternative. I am afraid giving the compartment exam isn't an option for you. But still, as far as possible, don't take a leaving certificate from your reputed school without a 'Pass' written on it. Third, you want to continue your education without losing much? Use that extra time to do things others wouldn't - things you may not get to do later in life. That is the only way you will ever catch up or overtake the rest. Improve your portfolio, travel places, learn a musical instrument, some design software, a bit of coding and a language. Needless to say, it will help you immensely in the future. But don't lose focus from the main things. You have a huge battle ahead. Study out of sincerity, not compulsion. Hope it helps.
