I want to be a game developer but I'm very good at maths? Also, I want to make own gaming firm. Can I aim for this as am not good in maths?

You must learn a programming language like Java for game development, though you can choose one of your preferences. You also need to gain a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms. Even if you are not very good at math, it won't have much of an impact on you as it is not a must. -

I think you wanted to say that you are not good at Maths but you want to develop games. So, the answer is sure you can. For game development, you need to learn a programming language like Java or maybe, you can choose according to your preference, and need to learn Data structures and algorithms on the basic side. Your knowledge of Maths may become a plus point, but it is not a necessity, so if even you are poor in Maths it won't affect you much.

6 years agoBeing good in Maths is plus point we can say. If you at good at it, it means your mind is miles ahead of anyone else. Additionally, if you want be a game development you need to learn core Java.
