I want to change my college in the second year. I want a college affiliated to VTU. How is it possible? How much money do I need to spend?

Yes, you can change your college in second year, but there are many things that should be considered and should be thought of before changing your college and they are as follows:
First, you should get the original migration certificate from the old university or college. For this, you have to contact the Examination Authority in your college. As migration certificate mentions your present education level of study and the grades which you got in your first year which makes it easier for new college to accept admission in 2nd year.

It is possible for you to change your college. But, it basically depends on a lot of conditions:
1. You should not have any backlogs after you complete your first year and should have a CGPA of more than 8 to be on the safer side.
2. Check, if there is vacancy in the college, you wish you get admission in. This is what it all comes down to. Some colleges keep some seats reserved for lateral admission while some rely on the seats that get vacant after for admission in lateral entry.
