I highly recommend that you go should for a mechanical engineering course rather than aeronautics. There is limited scope and infrastructure for an aeronautics degree in India. The best college which offers this course is IIT - Powai. Mechanical on the other hand has unlimited scope. If you are too passionate about aeronautics, you can pursue it as your postgraduate degree.
