I want to do MBA? What is the admission procedure without giving CAT at LPU? I scored 60% in B.Com.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) - MBA Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT or NMAT and Interview.

Hello, The eligibility criteria to take admission in MBA programme at LPU is passed with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent and you need to qualify LPUNEST (LPU's entrance exam). You can't take admission in MBA without giving CAT at LPU as it is compulsory and after clearing LPUNEST, you have to go through an interview, only then you can take admission in MBA.

If you still think that fees is little to high then there is a facility of student loan facility and you can do part time job side by side to recover the amount and to helping your parents. #Eligibility:-The eligibility to pursue MBA is: 55% + Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost &amp; Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).# Fees: So, the fees for MBA program is 190000 per semester but there is scholarship on the basis of entrance test that is Lpunest , national level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT., financial aid like need basis, defence basis and many more. If you still think that fees is little to high then there is a facility of student loan facility and you can do part time job side by side to recover the amount and to helping your parents. #Tie up Programmes: There is tie up programmes are there in MBA like MBA in financial markets tie-up with NSE, MBA in supply chain and logistic in tie up with safeguard and three specific specialisation courses MBA in hospital and healthcare management, international business and tourism and hospitality. #Placement: There is plenty of placement are there for management students and they have so many options are there to work in like banking, insurance, taxes, law and so on and if I talk about the salary packages the highest salary package in 21lacs average salary package is 6.37lacs.

Hi You have to apply for the entrance exam conducted by LPU i.e. LPUNEST to get admission there or they might admit you if you pay the fee directly, when I filled the LPUNEST form, there was a notification which reads "you can take direct admission without appearing in LPUNEST if you pay the fee directly".

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes the test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPU NEST.
