Individuals who hold a degree in travel and tourism management may work as travel agents, Travel clerks, Tour guides, Travel guides,Lodging managers, hospitality managers or travel coordinators.
The education and training requirements vary based on position and company.
There are Universities and Colleges in the Public as well as private sector offering Courses in Tourism and Travel Management.
Then there are Vocational Institutions imparting the Tourism Diploma and Post-Graduate Diploma.
There is a skill set that is a mandate for aspirants of T& T Industry:
-leadership
-team working
-problem solving
-communication skills, wit
