    Hello,
It completely depends upon the course you are looking for. There are certain courses in LPU in which there is no entrance exam, LPU NEST is not mandatory such as BBA BCA Hotel Management, B.Sc. In different specializations, Diploma programs, B.J. M. C. and many more, you just need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and you can get your admission done. Last date for admission in such courses is 30th April. If you are looking for admission in Engineering, PG Agriculture, MBA or LL. M. then you need to qualify LPU NEST. Counselling process is only followed in engineering. If you have appeared for JEE exam in January, then y

Yes, for that either JEE Mains qualification is needed or LPU-NEST is needed. Though you need not worry because LPU-NEST is very easy and your chances of rejection are around 1% out of 100. Moreover, if you are a JEE Mains qualified, then also you should go with LPU-NEST because scholarship offered to LPU-NEST qualified is more than that of JEE Mains qualified. This is the general scenario whereas the amount of scholarship may vary with candidate according to your Mains. Again, for admission, either Mains or LPU-NEST is required. Thank you.
