The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at LPU is : Pass with minimum 60% in 10+2 with Physics, mathematics and English + valid score of JEE Mains / LPU NEST. However if you have score of above 90% in 10+2, you will be exempted from any entrance examination. Not only the exemption, you also stand to secure the highest scholarship slabs available till October 31, 2020. In order to get admission in any of the B.Tech courses, you have to give LPU NEST exam. LPU NEST is mandatory to qualify. LPU is best known for its B.Tech course. Around 1000 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). Dear Sarah, Yes, it is mandatory to qualify for either LPU NEST or JEE Mains (with a minimum of 85 percentile) to get admission to the B.Tech programme at LPU. You do not need to worry about the LPU NEST exam, you can easily qualify for the exam and there is no negative marking. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1.
