Both Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Chandigarh University (CU) are recognised and accredited private universities in India, and neither can be labeled as fraudulent. Both institutions are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other relevant councils, which means their degrees are valid. However, like any large private university, students may have mixed experiences related to placements, faculty, or management policies. It's always a good idea to verify details such as accreditations, placement records, course curriculum, and student reviews before taking admission. Instead of calling any university a fraud,

To be honest, LPU is far more open and student-focused than CU. You truly receive what is promised because the university has appropriate processes in place for everything, including academic placements, student support, and placements. LPU stands out because of its wide campus, global alliances, and active placement cell. It's not eye-catching ads that count, but genuine opportunities. Therefore, LPU unquestionably wins if you're concerned about which is more authentic.

Both LPU and Chandigarh University are fully recognised and legitimate universities, and neither is fraudulent. Chandigarh University, in fact, has an impressive record of achievements that make it stand out. It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), which ensures its programs are nationally and internationally recognized. The students of this university regularly win international competitions, hackathons, and research awards, showcasing the university's emphasis on global exposure and practical skills. CU is one of the top trusted and awarded universities in North India because it ranks first in QS Asia University Rankings. Consistently, it has shown its credibility when it secured 20th in NIRF rankings. Also, it recently performed exceptionally well in national-level events like MAKA Trophy and AIU Youth Festival 2025. What makes CU stand out is the large variety of courses offered, modern infrastructure, full placement assistance, and an excellent practical approach to learning. Honestly, neither of them is a fraud. They are both well-known and recognised universities. But if we talk about rankings and quality, Chandigarh University is ranked #231 in QS World Rankings 2025, which is a big deal. CU is also ranked #20 in NIRF 2024 which is awesome. LPU is also a big name, but when it comes to industry tie-ups and placements, this university is ahead.

They have dedicated labs with IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and Unisys, which means students don't just learn from books but work on real projects. Their placement cell is also very active. Big companies like TCS, Amazon, and Capgemini hire from here.

Both universities are good and genuine, as LPU alumni, LPU provides quality education, and has provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups, etc. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personalities and give them a chance to polish their skills. The students of LPU have been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided into dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, ma
