Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. Both are top private universities in India. Chandigarh University is a genuine and trusted private university that has gained a good reputation over the years. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC, which means its academics and quality are verified by top national bodies. The university follows all government education rules and offers recognised degrees in engineering, law, management, and many other fields. The university is also ranked No.1 among private universities in India by QS Rankings. To be honest, LPU is far more open and student-focused than CU. You truly receive what is promised because the university has appropriate processes in place for everything, including academic placements, student support, and placements. LPU stands out because of its wide campus, global alliances, and active placement cell. It's not eye-catching ads that count, but genuine opportunities. Therefore, LPU unquestionably wins if you're concerned about which is more authentic.

Honestly, LPU isn’t a fraud at all, it’s actually known for its transparent system, placements, and massive campus facilities. Everything from academics to scholarships is properly managed online. I’ve seen students grow a lot here with real opportunities, not fake promises. So between the two, LPU definitely feels more genuine and student-focused.

Both Lovely Professional University (LPU) and Chandigarh University (CU) are recognised and accredited private universities in India, and neither can be labeled as fraudulent. Both institutions are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other relevant councils, which means their degrees are valid. However, like any large private university, students may have mixed experiences related to placements, faculty, or management policies. It's always a good idea to verify details such as accreditations, placement records, course curriculum, and student reviews before taking admission. Instead of calling any university a fraud,

    Good morning Sir,

Chandigarh University is a reputed and recognised institution, not a fraud in any sense. It is approved by UGC and AICTE, and its engineering and management programs hold international accreditations like ABET and NBA, which only a few institutions in India have achieved. These accreditations prove that the university follows strict quality standards in teaching, research, and infrastructure.

The university also has collaborations with top global organizations such as Microsoft, TCS, IBM, and Google for hands-on learning. Students from across India and abroad study here because of its transparent admission process, str

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

For NCHMCT JEE 2025 admissions at Chandigarh University, the approximate cutoff rank is around 10,000-11,000 (All India Rank) for the B.Sc in Hotel & Hospitality Management. Students with ranks near or below this range are generally eligible for admission.

It's important to note that Chandigarh University doesnot offer scholarships based on NCHMCT JEE scores. CU has its own entrance test, CUCET, which is used to determine scholarships for eligible students. However, appearing in CUCET is not mandatory for admission into CU's hotel management programs.
