Agriculture program at Lovely Professional University (LPU), you are required to qualify the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). This entrance exam serves both as an admission criterion and a scholarship assessment. However, candidates who have appeared for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) can also be considered for admission based on their CUET scores.

    LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation.     LPUNEST is the exam you need to take or if you have scored 60% in HSC then also you can apply for admission in LPU for B.Sc (Hons) in agriculture.

    Please check the eligibility criteria as below:-
    60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPUNEST/ NEET - From Phase II onwards.
    or
    60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPUNEST/ NEET - From Phase II onwards
    OR
    60% in 2 year Diploma (Agriculture) after 10th +LPUNEST/ NEET - From Phase II onwards
    Age Condition: - Minimum 16 Years
  • Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent subject to valid score in LPUNEST.
    For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
    (5% relaxation to SC/ ST applicants)

    You have to go through the entrance exam whereas eligibility of this course is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, physics, chemistry and maths or biology or forestry) OR 10+2 or intermediate (agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPUNEST or NEET.

    I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. In LPU the eligibility is
    Qualifying LPUNEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in:
    (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry)
