If a person doesn't take the JEE advance the same year in which he qualified his/ her class 12th will he still be remaining with 2 attempts

For example 2025 [ qualified 12th and take a drop I. E doesn't apply for JEE main Or adv] 2026 ( first attempt of JEE Mains and adv) Will he she be allowed in 2027

    Hey Azfar,

    I wrote JEE advance twice after 12th. Based on my experience, I share this,

    if the candidate does not attempt JEE Advanced in the same year that he or she qualifies his Class 12 examinations, then that candidate will have no two attempts left. In the eligibility criteria, candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts at JEE Advanced, and that has to be used in two consecutive years after qualifying Class 12.

    For example, somebody qualifies Class 12 in the year 2025. The individual is thus entitled to give the JEE Advanced examination conducted both in 2025 and in 2026. If such a person, however, abstains from JEE Advanced
