If I do not appear for JEE Advanced in class 12 but have cleared JEE Mains, then will that JEE Mains result be valid for the next year?

    No, this year, JEE Mains result will not be valid next year. You have to pass the JEE Mains exam for admission or for qualification for next exam that is JEE advance exam. You can give JEE advance exam in class 12th and next year only after class 12th. Now, you can give only once JEE advance exam, your one attempt is lost as you didn't given the exam.
