  • Dear Sukhpal,
If you fill the form today I.e. May 31, 2018 and apply for LPU-NEST the university will give you date for the test. Also, today is the last day for availing benefits of last year's fee I. e. 2017. If you will apply in June, you will choose the date yourself and also the fee applicable will be of 2018. Once you fill the admission form for LPU, you can book your slot for the LPUNEST exam almost immediately. LPU conducts this exam multiple times throughout the year, so you get plenty of chances to take it at your convenience. After submitting your form, you'll be able to choose your preferred exam date and center (or opt for the online proctored option).

The exam slots usually open up quickly, but you need to book your slot at least a few days before your chosen exam date. Results typically come back within 24 to 48 hours after the test, so you get fast feedback. If you miss one phase, don't worry because LPU keeps conducting new phases

    Dear Sukhpal,

Filling out the admission form for Lovely Professional University (LPU) is an exciting first step toward shaping your academic and professional journey. As you take this leap, a common question arises: When will the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) be conducted?

The LPUNEST is a crucial gateway—not only serving as an entrance examination but also offering scholarship opportunities to deserving students. For the 2025 cycle, here's a clear timeline to guide your preparation:

    • Slot Booking for Online Examination: Starts from 10th December 2025
    • Last Date to Apply & Book Slot: 15th January 2026

If you fill out the admission form for LPU, the LPUNEST exam is scheduled between 10th January and 5th February 2026 for the remote proctored test, and 20th January to 5th February 2026 for test center-based exams. Slot booking ends on 15th January 2026, and results are declared within 24 working hours of the exam. Online counselling and seat allocation will begin from 8th February 2026. It's recommended to check the official LPU website for the latest updates.

The LPU-NEST exam period is happening in phases and, at present, Phase 7 is occurring on August 4, 2025 onwards. Candidates can continue to complete their exam booking until August 15, 2025; which is the same date that applications for Phase 7 can be completed. The examination is online with remote proctored testing or testing in test centres. The results are typically available within 24 hours. If you completed the admission form now, you would be applying for the ongoing phase with exams from August 4 onwards with final admission deadlines around August 20, 2025.

LPU NEST is conducted multiple times in a year. There is no requirement to appear for the previous phase of the exam to appear for the next phase. The application form will be available for each phase separately. The candidates can log in to the official website and submit the application form, and appear for the exam. The exam is conducted from January to August.

Yes, you can appear for the  LPU NEST exam again in a later phase. Lovely Professional University allows candidates to appear in multiple phases of LPU NEST to improve their scores. To take the exam in a subsequent phase, the candidates must submit the application form again on the official website. Each phase of the  LPU NEST is treated separately, and the candidates will receive a new score and rank based on their performance in that phase of the exam.

No dear, there is no extra fees to appear in LPUNEST mock test . You only need to submit application fees of test . Here I would also like to inform you that if you choose online mode to appear for test only then its required to appear in mock test before final exam, so that you will get familiar with exam's software beforehand and comfortably qualify test on final date at home .

On the other hand, If you choose test center based option then there is no mock test in that mode. You only need to visit test center by carry hall ticket alongwith other documents such as copy of application form, ID proofs etc.

I hope this helps,
