LPU provides the LPU NEST Study Grant for Engineering Programmes. The scope of LPU NEST has been extended this year to provide assured study grant of Rs 7.7 Crores to students aspiring to join IITs/ NITs. By qualifying LPU NEST top students will get assured study grant of up to Rs 2 LAC per student for studying in IITs/NITs. Hello,
Being an Alumni and with best of my knowledge, I can say that Yes, there is chance that LPU awards you. But simply qualifying JEE and LPU NEST will not serve the purpose. As per my knowledge, LPU provides study grant to students getting admission in any of the institutes like IITs/ NITs/ Iims/ NLUs/ IHM/ NID/ IIT ( DoD/ IDC)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs and qualifying LPU NEST as well. Scholarships at LPU is always a talk in town, LPU provides around 100 crores of scholarships every year. I would suggest you to visit their website and get the detailed information. Hi Nomanjee, I should not laugh on your question but sorry to break this information for you that they are not distributing the money to every tom, Dik and Harry. Yes this is true that they will confer you a scholarship which will be deducted from your each and every Semester fee. For this you need to take Admission in the LPU. On the other hand LPU was offering study grant of Rs 1,00,000 per candidate ( Maximum 10 students per IIT) and Rs 1,00,000 for NIT ( Maximum 10 students per NIT). Hi Nomanjee, LPU do not give any money to you. It is the scholarship that LPU provides based on your merit scores. They will deduct that scholarship amount from your semester fee and asks you to pay the remaining fee only.

On the other hand LPU was offering study grant of Rs 1,00,000 per candidate ( Maximum 10 students per IIT) and Rs 1,00,000 for NIT ( Maximum 10 students per NIT). LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :-
The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. Lovely Professional University launched LPU NEST Study Grant 3rd Edition to augment the same spirit of expanding the purview of previous Editions of LPU NEST Study Grant I. e. LPU NEST Study Grant 1st Edition, 2019 and LPU NEST Study Grant 2nd Edition, 2020. This scholarship scheme to benefit any deserving candidate from across the country who needs financial support for getting higher education in the academic term 2021-22. Any deserving candidate who Qualifies LPU NEST exam can get a study grant of Rs.1 Lac for study education institutions like IITs/ NITs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (DoD/ IDC)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs or can get admission to LPU programmes and avail scholarship of upto Rs.6 Lac. Steps to avail
1. Register for LPU NEST 2021.

Dear candidate, there is no need to worrry if you missed LPUNEST in first phase. The unviersity conducted test in different phases so you can apply for test again in next phases. You will get two chances to qualify test . If somehow you will not able to appear in first attempt then in second chance you can apply and qualify it by getting maximum scholarship in course fees. The fees and scholarship varies from one course to another.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.
