Dear Aakash
Private university and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. Further AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY & ANR. V/S ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION & ORS, and various other cases. So all the courses of LPU have full validity for government and other jobs. -

Hello! Being an alumni of LPU, I would like to bring into your notice that LPU does not require an AICTE approval since it is already approved by UGC, a statutory body of the Government of India. This is because universities do not require AICTE approval compulsorily.
