I think its going to be more than 5years from now for students like me who just completed 12th to get settled through a good MBA degree. I just hope within 3years other IIMs too won't put up this change.

Views on practical experience before admission in a post graduate course has already been taken by fellow experts. I want to give an opinion on reservation policies in educational institutions which are being followed for last 70 years. I think direct admission quota should not be there and instead of that a fee waiver/discount/scholarship schemes should be introduced more to create large impact. Today due to reservation of seats in engineering and management colleges many students do not feel competitive while preparing for entrance exams. Instead of allotting students under the name of various quotas to follow the policy of appeaseme

More than the experience it will give clarity to the students in which specialization to pursue because even after graduation they have no clue about what career/job to take. Either they follow the traditional path decided by their parents or experiment with the post grad degree.
Industries now require ready to work employees rather than wasting time on training them. This initiative will work in favour of both.

Yes it is definitely a good decision taken by the Institute as we know that Experience is one of the best trainer of life. Human understand much better from experience s as compared to classroom studies. The practical experiences helps us to learn from mistakes and make correct decision in life. Also a experienced students joins a Institute so learning becomes more interesting as everyone shared their experiences and others do learn about what decision one should be taking without repeating the mistake. Also Management course are just not books reading and passing the exam, it is the study based on the experience and the situations whi

Many people to MBA without any business experience and it is expected that they should run the business as they are from reputed institutes. Learning in classroom is a different thing and applying them in real life is completely different. I completed my MBA 8 years back and again enrolled for another MBA and realised that I forgot most of the things that was taught to me. I knew the concept but nothing more than

I think that the concept has been taking roots for quite a few years. It is becoming a routine phenomenon making case studies in the regular classroom. This idea is catching up. Education doesn't mean acquisition of certain theory. The actual examination is applying that theory for practical purposes. Job experience for MBA is also considered vital in some elite institutions.
