Is a student from commerce stream without mathematics eligible for BCA or not?

    For a few universities, BCA candidates should have either mathematics or computer in class 12th. As you don't have mathematics in class 12th, if computer application was a subject in class 12th then you will be eligible for BCA course. There are so many other universities also where there is no such criterion. They offer admission to class 12th pass candidates. As you are from commerce stream, so you have done mathematics a little bit that will be an added advantage for you. Try to contact the institution they will tell you about the eligibility criterion.     Yes, you can pursue BCA if you didn't opt for maths in HSC.
