Is a student from commerce stream without mathematics eligible for BCA or not?

For a few universities, BCA candidates should have either mathematics or computer in class 12th. As you don't have mathematics in class 12th, if computer application was a subject in class 12th then you will be eligible for BCA course. There are so many other universities also where there is no such criterion. They offer admission to class 12th pass candidates. As you are from commerce stream, so you have done mathematics a little bit that will be an added advantage for you. Try to contact the institution they will tell you about the eligibility criterion. If you don't have mathematics in class 12th and you want to take admission in BCA then maybe you will get a chance to take admission in few institutions but BCA study will be very much difficult for you because in BCA there are some papers from mathematics. Also, at the time of selection for a job non-maths students suffer a lot to be selected for a job. I think as you have commerce as the background, BBA will be the best option for you.

Yes, you can pursue BCA if you didn't opt for maths in HSC.
