    Hi Raaz,
Absolutely, yes. You are definitely eligible to pursue M.Tech from IITs after completing B.Tech through lateral entry.
After your diploma, do your BE / B.Tech after it. You will be eligible under the lateral entry scheme. Learn well and understand the subjects well. Get a good grasp of the fundamentals and basics.
Next, prepare well for GATE. Try to achieve a good rank under 500. It is possible, given your effort, hard work and sincerity. Then, you stand a great chance to get into IIT.
    All the best.

M.Tech from IIT's. Really appreciate your career idea. Yes, you can. It's the matter how you manage yourself to perform well in the GATE exam, which lets you enable an opportunity to proceed for IIT'S. Just make a strong will to go and there you can achieve it easier. Hope this helps you. Hoping a bright career ahead. Happy answering your query.

It doesn't matter whether you have taken direct admission, or you are a lateral entry because at the end you are an engineer with a Bachelor's degree. Only one thing that everyone has to take care of is CGPA in B.Tech and GATE score as well to get admission in IITs.

    Hai Raaz,
Yes, you are absolutely eligible to pursue your M.Tech in IITs, if you clear your GATE Entrance test with high percentile score. The basic qualification is B.Tech /PG for admission in to M.Tech Programs.
