Is AIBE conducted online or offline?

The AIBE exam is conducted in offline mode where 100 objective type of questions are asked. There is no negative marking in the exam. As per the AIBE exam pattern released by BCI, the candidates are allowed to carry Bare Acts without notes. The AIBE exam was previously conducted as an open-book exam, but from the AIBE 16 session onwards, only Bare Acts without short notes are allowed.

The test will be conducted in offline mode. The candidate is required to mark the answer on the OMR Sheet. The exam is in multi-choice model and conducted offline in 3 and half hours duration.

All India Bar Examination was conducted in offline mode for All India Bar Examination XVII also. If the exam mode will be changed from All India Bar Examination 18 (2024) onwards then it will be held in offline, Pen-paper based test mode, as well as, Online, CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.
