Is B.Tech CSE of LPU Is better than CU?

Hello! Every university is doing well for their students but as per my knowledge, I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B.Tech from here and she placed in Cognizant with a good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure, and facilities are excellent as IITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie-ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE, etc. , the syllabus of courses is vetted and inspected by these companies professionals at the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills, etc. Are the part of the curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. For on-campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for design and development centers where students can work on their ideas. In 2019, during PM Narendra Modi's visit to LPU for the Indian Science Congress address, he has visited the main venue from the helipad in the Driverless car which was designed by LPU students using artificial intelligence. 6) LPU has its own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on a satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. 7) LPU has 100% placement track record. Without any bias towards any particular college, I will offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. So through him I come to know about University and few other things which I would like to discuss:- LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. The placements on the campus is good enough. It is the best university in the North of India to give the best packages in B.Tech (CSE). During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 42 LPA. The university placement drive undoubtedly works hard for the students to get placed. Just before Final Year of your course, a special team called School of Professional Enhancement will prepare students for upcoming placements and you won't get a day off from placements, every day a company comes to campus. Its just up to you how well you can do and never lose Patience you will get placed, you just have to prepare well for that. The university has tie-ups Oracle to train us better and with huge companies for placements like Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Amazon, JOSH technology group, Tech Mahindra, TCS and others who visit every year offering attractive packages to students. The average package is around 3.5lakhs - 4.5lakhs p. a. The deserving ones are also seen ceasing the opportunity by getting placed with a whopping package of 20-25 LPA. LPU offers Study Abroad Programme that allows the students to experience the international study culture well under the framework of a different educational system abroad. Thank you!

My vote completely goes to LPU. I have been a part of LPU as a student. I am saying this as per my experience and is an alumnus of LPU, I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. LPU is much better than any other University.
