I have done my MBA from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about others. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement. Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need for same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such a level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculty members, put in a lot of effort to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such a level is more important, and putting up efforts for that is more important, and that what LPU always takes care of. University has a separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on the overall development of students. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands-on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts, and many more events which help the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% of students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculty members and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career. Thank You!

I guess if we think objectively both Universities are private universities. And what I SEE is that they are in competition with each other. But the most important point here is to look into the university's legacy. If we look back in that terms, the legacy of lovely professional university goes back to year 2006. And CU is younger university established in 2012. So, there is no doubt that an institute with more experience point goes to LPU. And the another important point is to look into student quality. If you go for deeper analysis the eligibility criteria if a university decided its quality student intake. And in this point LPU against ranks higher as they have much stringent eligibility criteria requiring student to appear and qualify in their universities national level standard exam LPU NEST. If we talk about CU they do have their test but eligibility criteria is little Lower compared to LPU. But then this is just an overview, it is always important to make informed decisions in life for better career. No, LPU is not better than CU, Chandigarh University. In my personal experience, CU is way better than LPU when it comes to academics, placements, Internships, Curriculum, extra curricular activities etc. CU is better because it has the NAAC A+ grade and it is Amongst Elite & Prestigious NAAC A+ Universities. CU is Rated AAA+ by India's only Education Magazine Career360.
