Without any bias towards any particular college, I will offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. So through him I come to know about University and few other things which I would like to discuss:- LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. The placements on the campus is good enough. It is the best university in the North of India to give the best packages in B.Tech (CSE). During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 42 LPA. The university placement drive undoubtedly works hard for the students to get placed. Just before Final Year of your course, a special team called School of Professional Enhancement will prepare students for upcoming placements and you won't get a day off from placements, every day a company comes to campus. Its just up to you how well you can do and never lose Patience you will get placed, you just have to prepare well for that.
