Nowadays more pressure is put and more and more opportunities are been given for those who are in the field of environmental science and this subject is one of the basic and necessitated subject for the great and good prospect of mankind. Just sitting there and asking about the prospects of the subject matter in my accordance is not so well If at all you are aspiring and keen or interested in that particular subject then why not practically just go on and see yourself its applications, where and how it has been implicated and how it is used, likewise. Watch your surroundings and try to understand the nature and how it changes by the day, if you are just sitting in there and waiting for answers, for a question like this, I think it's just a waste of time.
