Is Chitkara University a good option for hotel management?

Hi Mohit, Chitkara is doing quite well, but certainly it isn't the best. If you are considering B.Sc. In hotel Management, you must give a deep thought to LPU, as it has made a name for itself hospitality courses over the period of time on back of stellar record. Some factors which give a clear edge to LPU are: Course curriculum: Which is developed in consultations and feedback of industry. Teaching pedagogy: IT entails the practical trainings on almost each and every aspect of the industry. Technology training: The software used in industry like Galileo, etc. Are also a part of curriculum. Diversity: The huge diversity of students from all over the country and about 70 countries across the globe gives a unique skill to students, that of global outlook and insights into many cultures. They develop the right sensibilities for people across the world which is the biggest virtue for any hospitality professional. Infrastructure: No one can match LPU here, for practical trainings, LPU has a in house hotel (UNIHOTEL) in house mall (UNIMALL) and many in house catering service vendors. Credit transfers : The large number of study abroad options as semester exchange and credit transfers are also available for benefit of students Coming to placements, LPU has tie ups with all the major hospitality chains of the world and these are regular to campus for recruitment. Almost 75% of students get placed at positions of Management trainee and above which is a great number in itself. So go ahead and make your choice. Thanks DVD.

I would say that Chitkara University is a very good option if you are interested in doing hotel management since the way students get knowledge from the faculty is good and even after completing your course, you will get good job opportunities from the campus only based on your skills and knowledge.
