Is civil engineering good at LPU?

I am alumni of this University, I did CSE but have one friend who has done Civil Eng. From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technological techniques are a regular part of classroom teaching too. The course material provided here enables to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits. In order to get this develop LPU have timely workshops, and seminars. Coming to faculty, they are one of the best mentors to students & everything here is up to the mark. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got The college arranges frequent industry visits. New innovative ideas were framed into working models and were showcased to 10000+ school students. LPU supports innovation and research and hence provides students with such opportunities. LPU is the best option for Civil Engineering. There are ample of opportunities for Civil engineering graduates after passing out from LPU. The department has some great tie-ups with leading national companies for placement drives. Major infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few. The starting package can be anything between 45 lacs per annum. Yes, Lovely Professional University is a good private university for the Civil Engineering programme. LPU offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. One of my best friends completed both B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from LPU. He got placement as well while studying there. The faculty of LPU are trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants and also are equipped with academic excellence. Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details of the faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also ACT as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck with. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. I did my Engineering from LPU and many of my friends were enrolled in Civil Engineering at LPU, So, I will give you the exact picture of Civil Engineering at LPU.
