    The Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University is a government-owned university. It was established in 2008 by the State legislature of Delhi with Act No. 07 of 2008 and is the first Pharmaceutical University of India. DPSRU Delhi functions as a 100% grant-in-aid State Government University as recognised by the UGC.

    Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is a state (government) university. Act 7 of 2008, the State Legislature of Delhi, established this institution as the first Pharmacy University of India. It is a state university with the authority to regularly grant degrees in accordance with the UGC's guidelines through its own departments and constituent colleges in accordance with Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956.     Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) created the Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU). It was established in 2008 by an Act of the Delhi Legislative Assembly with the intention of advancing academic and research excellence in the pharmaceutical fields.     Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is a state university located in New Delhi, India. It was established by the State Legislature of Delhi through Act 7 of 2008 and is recognized under 2f and Section 22 of the University Grants Commission (UGC). For example, the UG level BPharma course, selection criteria are based on the aggregate of Class 12 marks of 3 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology.
