    Yes, English is a compulsory subject in class 12th to apply for the UP CNET 2025 exam. Candidates must also have passed physics, chemistry, and biology with 50 per cent overall aggregate in class 12th to be eligible to apply for the nursing entrance exam. Reserved category candidates must have scored 45 per cent marks to be eligible for appearing in the entrance exam.
