SEAS offers a hybrid learning option in addition to full-time, on-campus courses for its Data Science Masters Degree. The Harvard Extension School provides both on-campus and online study alternatives for the Harvard University Master of Science in Data Science. To get their pre-capstone project off to a good start, students in this course are required to spend three weeks on campus. After that, they can complete an online capstone project to round up the course.

Data Science Principles is a Harvard Online course in collaboration with Harvard Business School Online that provides an overview of data Science with a code- and math-free introduction to prediction, causality, data wrangling, privacy, and ethics. The Master of Liberal Arts, Data Science degree programme is offered online with one 3-week course required on campus here at Harvard University.
