Is internship provided in LPU for BBA (Hons.) during the course period?

Dear Ashutosh, One of my friend has done BBA from LPU and is also pursing MBA from LPU. So, I remember, he joined internship at ITC that too through campus recruitment. As per his experience I am sharing that LPU offers Summer trainings, full-term optional / compulsory internships, On-the-job trainings, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated in LPU curriculum. They expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. On-site experience has been gained by our students through industry internships in corporate giants like Cognizant, Microsoft, Infosys, ABB, ISRO, Simplex to name a few. LPU offers various opportunities for students to work directly with industry on Live and Entrepreneurial projects. LPU students are provided ample opportunities for full-time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Forbes Marshall, Bosch, Cognizant, Escorts, Flipkart, Hexaware, IBM, Infineon, ITC, Nestle, Radisson, Sonalika, Synopsys, TEK Systems, Wipro etc. LPU has pioneered a student engagement model, where a student goes for internship with the option of a Pre-Placement offer for a period of 6 months to a year. The student simultaneously completes their academic program, as well as the internship and, are on board as full-time employees based on their internship performance.

Hi, Yes, LPU offers internships in most of the courses. It is part of the curriculum and after your second year of BBA (Hons.), you go for an internship. The students can join an internship by sitting in the placement drive organized by LPU or they can organize at their own end. The students can work in banks (Private or Public), the Pvt sector or Public Ltd. companies, etc. The students have done an internship in Companies like IDBI, FUTURE GENERAL INSURANCE Company, COHO, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Karvy stockbroking, Decathlon Sports Ltd; etc Thanks

Yes, internship is an opportunity given to the undergraduate students, called interns, to work at a firm for a fixed period of time, i.e., 45 days. These internships are offered from the university or the student can select the firm on their own. It takes place after the completion of their 4th semester of the programme.

Yes, there is a huge support for internships within the campus (only if the company and stipend are decent). You'll get leave for your internship period, support from university side (academic and financial as well) and lots of companies visit to choose from. Moreover, you can find the internships on your own too.
