Is it a good choice to pursue B.Tech from LPU? Which branch of engineering has a better scope, CSE or aeronautical engineering?

Dear Armaan, It all depends upon your interest. No stream is good or bad. Your interest does so. Let me brief: LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. LPU provides the latest curriculum which is accepted at industry level, industrial exposures and the best placement depending upon the caliber of the student. B.Tech -CSE from LPU provides wonderful experience and handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data etc. In Aerospace Engineering the programme comes with engineering minors: 1. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE 2. SPACE ENGINEERING and pathway electives: 3. ADVANCED AEROSPACE TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION for industry immersion. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foriegn universities. Every year nearly 600 companies visit for campus-recruitment of students. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc. So, I personally feel that CSE provides a wider scope but if you are oriented towards aircrafts etc. , then Aerospace is best.

Placements in LPU are very good but CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed. CSE LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. LPU offers good placements irrespective of branch, it is excellent for all branches of LPU. Choice of any branch solely depends upon your area of interest.
