    LPU is like a big name and has big campus but it is not what it shows in the good looking advertisements. It is just their marketing strategy.

    If you are not getting any government colleges whether it is central or state then in private, you can go for IPS option as it is providing good facilities like infrastructure, faculty, labs and placement is overall good. So, you can go for that.

    I would say LPU has it all for perfect learning, especially for engineering, be it any branch. I have few friends from LPU who were enrolled in B.Tech IT. At LPU B.Tech IT programme is seamlessly articulated with the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place.     The definition of best varies from person to person. The top engineering colleges in India in 2020 include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, ISM Dhanbad and many other private colleges. LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
