Is it a good decision for me to take take a year drop? I am a PCM student & am not expecting a good score in JEE Mains (approx. 40).
I belong to SC category.

Hi Kapil,
As per your score and category, you may not get any good colleges. So, it is better if you look forward for other exams that you may have applied for, or you may take a drop as there is not problem at all.
