Divyanshu, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. High tech MAC lab.s have been set up for the benefit of students. No doubt, these are good institutes but right now you should look others institutes on basis of placements. I think, Today's scope of Computer Science & Engineering branch is very good in private MNC's companies. Basically, placement is all depends upon the qualities and the overall performance throughout your education. But some of the top ranking college has good placement. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
