The right decision depends upon your priorities, if you want to drop and feel that you can work for one more year and get a better college then go for it.
No one can ever say package and all as it depends upon scenario when you are going to pass out.
So take your call wisely and don't get affected by your friend's package.
Instead think upon how you can improve each moment. -

The first thing, I would say is both are the different thing I have qualified JEE Mains and I am currently an existing student at LPU, not me many other mates are pursuing his/her course at LPU because of the world-class exposure like top colleges in India. It is not only right, but a great decision in terms of your good career because if you haven't qualified in an entrance exam JEE Mains you have another entrance exam, which is LPU NEST, which will open the door for LPU, the top university will welcome you with the well-qualified faculty members. Hi dear, I wonder why would it be a wrong decision to join LPU and pursue a degree from there. LPU offers more than 200 courses and have different eligibility criteria. For most of the courses, one needs to qualify LPU NEST to get admission. Well for engineering courses, either you have to be a JEE-Mains qualified or you need to compulsorily qualify LPU NEST to meet the eligibility criteria.
