    Yes, LPU is in fact one of the best private universities for Computer Science. Not only the placements are good here, but also the academics, campus life, hostel life, infrastructure, and sports, etc. The best thing about it academics is that LPU focuses more on innovative teaching methodology rather than on the old conventional type of teaching.     The study of CSE in LPU is very good. LPU CSE programme is always the talk of the town. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. My own brother is studying at LPU so I can answer you well. Most of the LPU students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
