Yes, LPU is in fact one of the best private universities for Computer Science. Not only the placements are good here, but also the academics, campus life, hostel life, infrastructure, and sports, etc. The best thing about it academics is that LPU focuses more on innovative teaching methodology rather than on the old conventional type of teaching. Hence, gaining practical knowledge given a priority here. The curriculum here is also very well planned, making sure that students meet all the industry requirements. Also, there are special classes to prepare you for placements as well. Also, the huge 600-acre beautiful campus here is a worth mentioning feature of LPU. The infrastructure here is also one of the best in the world. And the most important thing, the placements, is also very great here at LPU with maximum students sitting in the placement drive getting placed. A whole lot of companies (~600) come to the campus every year for placements, including the recruiters from NITs and IITs as well.

I do have my friends who are pursuing the same and based on his feedback- LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. There is a very good holistic environment for one to study and get ready for the corporate world while sharpening your skills and knowledge. The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs.

Hi there, Well, I am myself not an engineering student at LPU but I have numerous friends from Engineering branch at LPU. I have been studying at LPU from four years now and moreover my cousin-brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely professional university. He has learnt a lot from LPU. Reviews are pretty good. LPU has helped him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. He told me, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking.
