Is it advisable to do integrated program after 12th or to begin with BBA and then MBA.

Integrated program is a very industry oriented course and aims to develop management skills in an individual from the grass root level. What do you think?

While both options have their own merits, the choice actually depends on your objectives. Here is what you need to be aware of about both programs.

    • Integrated Program (BBA+MBA):

      • Saves time and cost (5 years vs. 6).
      • Offers a streamlined learning path with a focused curriculum.
      • Ideal if you're sure about pursuing an MBA right after 12th.
    • BBA, then MBA:

      • Gives flexibility to gain work experience after BBA.
      • Allows exploration of specialised MBA programs later based on career goals.
      • Perfect if you're still exploring your interests.

Personally, I believe that pursuing both BBA & MBA seperately is the best option. When you pursue these programs f

The right way to do any work is to begin it from the basics which BBA will do then you need to enhance your skills in which MBA helps a lot. Integrated course will not help you mush in gaining work experience as most of the companies need experienced person, so complete BBA then do some job and then MBA.

If you are sure pursue MBA after BBA then integrated is not Bad. But change is needed so MBA and BBA separately is also advisable at times.

I will rather prefer a lengthier preparation for the qualification, from an early stage. I welcome increased motivational levels. Changes now occur at a faster pace and so, the cultivation of skills should be well in advance. Students are more inclined to receive in the earlier stage.

Integrated programmes are a new kind of approach in today's era. They are breaking all the conventional shackles.
It serves your purposes by bringing in a lot of exposure which is required at your age. Also, it sets up your life for next few years.
You get enough time to think about your future while being in the college.
Thus integrated MBA with BBA provides you with an insight into your career goals.

No, you don't need to pursue any integrated programme but whatever we are learning that will help us in our future studies or in job. There are some good distance learning BBA programmes which are offered by various good universities.

I don't think integrated programme is a good option. A person should go for an individual course. After completing an individual course, a candidate will have plethora of options.

As Yash said the integrated program is always a positive part of doing studies in management but some colleges have good & strong hold of the subjects in which you will get what you desire. Please find the best management colleges, I would like to name one i.e. UEM, Kolkata and Jaipur for its best assistance and placement record.

    Hi,
You should go for an integrated program. It is beneficial and is in demand these days. You will get 2 degree in less time . I think you should go for integrated. You have lot of options like BBA +MBA, BBA+LLB, etc. You can choose according to your choice. The program has been prepared with an intention to create dedicated professionals who are well trained in 2 programs. You can go for list of colleges like :-
    UPES, Dehradun
    University of Mumbai.
    University of Mysore
    Symbiosis International

Even though MBA and integrated MBA are courses in business administration, both of them are entirely different in nature. The Master of Business Administration is a Masters level programme that is concerned with the examination of the techniques as well as the hypothesis that are involved in the administration of a business. Integrated MBA is a long time course that is about the overall study of a business. The study examines the foundations of a business to the most important tasks that a manager has to perform within the organisation.

    Hi,
According to me, both have their own advantages. The five year integrated course among its many benefits gives you a solid grounding in the basics of subjects like HR, Finance, MIS, etc. and then hones your skills in a specific area, immensely boosting your job prospects. While just BBA lays the groundwork to develop business acumen in an individual, inculcate entrepreneurial abilities and act as a launch pad for a successful career in the business environment.
Some of the colleges providing integrated MBA are:
    IILM
    UPES Dehradun
    NMIMS Mumbai
    IIT

    Hi Neha,
According to me you should first go for BBA and then MBA instead of Integrated MBA. In BBA, you will get to know the basis and fundamentals in a proper sequence according to the UG level. After completing your UG, you can go for your MBA.
If you go for integrated MBA you will not get the level and method of teaching used in a UG course.

Both the programmes have their own advantages.
BBA is a 3-year undergraduate programme in business administration. This course can get you an entry level position in the organisation but will not provide you with enough growth opportunities unless you follow it up with MBA.
BBA equipped with MBA, you will have a lot more opportunities in the market as you will have a specialisation in certain field and more preference will be given over someone who has done just his bachelors. In addition you will land up to higher position as well.
Some of the colleges providing best BBA programmes are Christ University, NMIMS, Symbiosis, UPES, Guru Gobi
