Hi,
Qualifying B.Ed exam helps you to become eligible for teaching in schools. But, if you want to become a lecturer then you have to qualify NET exam.
You have to qualify the CSIR NET or UGC NET exam according to your subjects.
Qualifying the NET exam will not only help you to become lecturer in colleges and universities, but there are too many other benefits also like:Get a job in PSUs, pursue career in research field, get fellowship amount, etc.

B.Ed is an exam for teaching in schools. To become a professor, you need to clear UGC NET exams apart from your Master's degree. Good luck.

There is no need to do B.Ed to become a College Lecturer. Your PG Degree would be sufficient enough for that. To get a lecturer job in government colleges, you would need to appear in NET UGC entrance exam. And CBSE conducted this exam every year. So, I think you should be starting preparation for qualifying this exam to become a lecturer. All the best, I hope my answer really helps you.
