It is not compulsory to give an entrance exam for admission to the BTech Marine Engineering course admission. A lot of colleges admit students to the course considering their Class 12 marks in the board exams. Having said that, very many popular BTech Marine Engineering colleges in India strictly consider the marks scored in entrance exams like IMU-CET, JEE Main, WBJEE, etc.
