Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc. , besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years and is related to the specific field of study. Yes, it is compulsory to give NATA for B.Arch. NATA is conducted by COA, so it is compulsory for B.Arch admission. LPU is one of the university which is recognised by COA, who offer B.Arch programme. LPU is ranked 12 in architecture by NIRF 2021. Also, ranked 36th in India, by Times Higher Education World Ranking 2022. In addition to that, LPU ranked 3rd by Atal Ranking of Institutions on innovation Achievement 2021. I like to share the eligibility of same:

NO, it is not compulsory for you to qualify NATA to take admission in B.Arch. JEE Mains (Paper-II) marks are equally considered. The eligibility criteria states that you should have 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and pass with 50% aggregate marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics

Pass with 50% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. (with Mathematics)

If you looking for Convenor Quota seats in both govt. and private institutions with fixed fees by govt., then you have to qualify NATA.
Some private institutes conduct their own exam and give admission. But, LPU you can get admission in B.Arch only after qualifying NATA or JEE Main Paper-II.
you can also go for Management Quota seats in private institutions with a higher fee structure.
You can also give JEE Mains Paper-2 for admission into SPAs, NITs, and other centrally funded institutions. (Not IITs).
For IITs admission, JEE Mains Paper-1, JEE Advanced, and AAT.
