Is it compulsory to write the entrance test if I want to pursue fashion designing from LPU? What is its fee including hostel & mess charges?

Hi, LPU provides Diploma and degree in fashion designing: 1. Diploma In fashion 2. B.Sc. (Fashion Design)- 3 Years .3. B. Design (Fashion Design)- 4 Years 3. Post Graduation M.Sc. Design/M. Design 2 years Eligibility depends on the programme you choose but as per the current scenario of national lockdown, the entrance test is exempted so you can take direct admission as per the qualifying eligibility of the course. Fees is also depends on the course example the fees of B.Sc. And B. design in fashion Design is RS 98000 per semester. LPU offers scholarships on the basis of marks of previous qualification, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, the only one that too maximum will be floated. Thanks.

One of my friend inquired from LPU regarding the fashion design course and he shared the details with me. LPU offers the following courses in fashion: 1. Diploma In fashion 2. Degree B.Sc. /B. Design) 3. Post Graduation M.Sc. Design/M. Design The eligibility is different for different programme but no LPU NEST is required. You have to be clear in which course you are interested. In addition to this LPU offers scholarships on the basis of marks of previous qualification, LPU NEST Sports, Defence and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one that too maximum will be floated. There are three slabs of scholarship: 50%, 40% and 30% LPU do offer residential facility to the student at differentiate; rate depending upon the seater you opt for. Hello, Being an Alumni of LPU, I always keep an eye LPU. I will be sharing my inputs here. You will be glad to know that due to COVIS-19, LPU has taken an initiative and has relaxed their eligibility criteria for most of the courses. Eligibility of B. Design Fashion and B.Sc. Fashion is also reduced. LPU NEST is not mandatory for eligibility purpose as the minimum eligibility criteria (Qualifying Exam) is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. Also, LPU is offering Huge scholarship as well on tuition fees. Tuition fees at LPU depends on students caliber and you can avail maximum scholarship on tuition fees. Tuition fees vary from course to course. Hostel Fees: Hostel Charges depend upon the type of hostel room, you opt for. University offers room from 1 to 6 seater and even dormitory and further AC and Non AC option as well. The fee structure of hostel ranges from around 36,000 INR to 150000 INR per academic year. Charges depend upon your choice of seater with AC or Non AC. Mess Charges: University offers mess for the complete academic session, which included a 4-time meal at the charge of around 32,000 INR. Hi, Well, the eligibility criteria is passed with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to valid score in LPU NEST or UCEED. According to eligibility criteria, either you have to qualify LPU NEST (LPU's entrance exam) or you have to qualify UCEED. Hi there, the eligibility for the B Design Fashion is Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent or Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or UCEED or Under Graduate NID that (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants) The fee for the programme is Rs 120000 per semester. LPU offers several scholarships that you can avail. Keeping in view affordability for students, LPU has options ranging from dormitory to single seater rooms. It costs Rs 35000 to over 95000 for a year (ten months). Similarly for mess, a student is charged Rs 30000 to Rs 50000 per annum (ten months), depending on whether the student opts for basic, standard or ala care mess. Design Fashion from Lovely Professional University and today she is successfully running her own Brand, she was also the part of internship projects with leading Fashion stylists. Also, her designs are appreciated not just in India but even abroad. She always keeps on appraising LPU for different platforms provided by them. I will be sharing a few major highlights of the Fashion Design course based upon her experience. The School of Fashion Designing of Lovely Professional University is doing extraordinary works in the field of Designing. They are conducting Fashion Shows regularly for the students. It gives a great chance to the students to show their talent in front of a big audience. Prominent designers are also taking part in the events. So, surely it is a big opportunity university is providing to the students in Lpu. The infrastructure for the practical works are very excellent in the university. Students can enjoy the course curriculum which has given mo re importance to practical knowledge. Scholarships have one other significance. LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. However mess and hostel charged would vary according to the choice of the infrastructure.
