Is it good to go to UPES, Dehradun for specializations? Is it better to than stay in local colleges or universities and do my B.Tech here?

I am from Vijayawada and my target is GATE after four years is there any benefit of going to UPES, Dehradun? I give some burden to my family on going to degrading. Should I really go there?

If you have proper wealth to pay the entire fees of UPES then you can go, otherwise don't give burden to your family. Prepare for GATE. You can get a good job through GATE.

It will be good if you go to UPES because UPES provides many specialisation in CS. So you will get extra benefits. Also, it has a very good reputation as compared to other colleges.

    Hello dear,
UPES provides specializations in Computer Science field and they are as per the industry demand, so opting them is a good choice.
Also, the college provides good faculty members and facilities with a good learning environment. Also, the placement record is good. The highest package is about 16-18 LPA and the average is 4-6 LPA. But there is a major drawback, that is, the fee structure is quite high.
If you are willing to join UPES family, then go through the fee structure first, then think further.
    Best of luck.
