Is it good to join LPU or any other private colleges like UPTU or SRM?

Dear Sameeksha, I have no idea about UPTU or SRM. But being alumni of LPU, I can share the details about LPU. LPU is the best private university in India among all private universities. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package available for Engineering programme is 42 lacs. Per annum by 2020 pass-out batch. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students who have a good academic record, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. Ranking: 1. Well if you ask me I would say there is no point comparing because both LPU and SRM University has their own story of glory and limitations. On one side where SRM University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. A new name as compared to SRM but a promising and a progressive university. Both the university have : The Lush Green, Pollution-Free Campus. Wide Range of Courses. Infrastructural Delight. Good Placements. In LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. This polishes the potential ability of the students to develop according to the industry needs. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. Such baby steps definitely give it to a bigger scope and arena. LPU has set new bench marks in Placements which is one of the most promising part of a good university today. LPU strongly believes in the fact that learning doesn't happen only by books equal amount of external exposure is much needed for the holistic development of one self. Though all the institutes mentioned above have good academic structure but being an alumni will explain LPU in detail. LPU is good in terms of Placements, Infrastructure, and faculty members. My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. The diversity of students from different cultures and different countries offers a good learning B.Ed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life. I have completed my MBA from LPU and I believe that LPU is one of the best universities among all the B schools as well as other ranked universities. I will share certain facts which would justify the same. 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). 2. Size: LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Students are taking the admissions not from all over India but across the borders as well which make me feel that I am in a foreign land. 3. Ranking: LPU has following ranking: 1. Impact rankings 2021 2. National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds 3. Outlook has ranked LPU as 5th among top 50 universities 4. Knowledge Review rated LPU as 10 th among Best training and Placement Institute 4. Infrastructure: LPU in itself a town as all the amenities a student could found at one place there is no need to move out of the campus. From Central Library to Hospital, Bank, ATMs, JIM facility, swimming pool. A student could enjoy his or her life in the best way. 5. LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC recognized and a renowned University and is considered as one among top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with latest facilities. I am saying this as per my experience and being an alumnus of LPU, I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. Choosing which programme to join, and to which university you should go, is one of the most important decisions you will make. Before searching for any University, You should compare universities on various parameter like academics, Industrial exposure, placements, infrastructure, On-Campus Facilities & Amenities, Student Activities etc. So, choose the programme and the University to join very wisely.The International exposure students get with foreign internship opportunities with articulation programs opportunities where one can complete his/her degree in the foreign country under 1+1 program, where the student will study one year in LPU and final year abroad and get the degree of the foreign university, gives these students such an opportunity which makes them adaptable to the changing scenarios in the corporate world.Diversity and experience, LPU has more than 30000 students from about 70 countries, what an experience it would be to study among international students. The number of international students studying there is 6000+ from all around the world, which makes them adapt and work with diverse culture all around the world.
