    Mechanical engineering in LPU: -
    1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also.
    2. The capstone project is an integral part of the B.Tech programme in LPU in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills.

    As an LPU alumnus, I would suggest LPU's B.Tech Mechanical programme; I am giving my thoughts on this course; LPU is fantastic; placements are good. As a general rule, a lot depends on your own hard work, communication and presentation abilities, and overall preparation for placements. This is true regardless of whatever university you attend. Mechanical Engineering students are immersed in cutting-edge labs and technology, including robotics and automation, as part of an experiential learning process.     Being LPU alumni I would recommend B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, I am sharing my friend's review regarding this course, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently, he is working with XL Dynamics with a decent package. LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
